CamishaFatimah Gentry-Ford

CEO & Founder

A native of San Francisco’s historic Fillmore District, CamishaFatimah Gentry-Ford is a Mother, Healer, Educator, and Visionary committed to transforming pain into power. Her early life was shaped by the challenges of navigating race, class, drugs, and violence in an inner-city environment, eventually leading her to drop out of high school. But with the unwavering love of her mother, a transformative journey to Bennett College, and her embrace of orthodox Islam, she began to heal and reclaim her story.

CamishaFatimah’s lived experience fuels her commitment to Restorative Justice (RJ), Community Healing, and Liberation-Centered Education. With a B.A. in Communications from Bennett College, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Mills College, and an acceptance to Pacifica University's PhD program in Depth Psychology, her work weaves together psychology, spirituality, and justice.

She has facilitated self-help courses for incarcerated men at San Quentin State Prison, led healing work in Oakland public schools through RJOY (Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth), and trained hundreds across the country in trauma-informed, culturally-rooted restorative practices. Through CFGF Consulting, she now coaches and supports individual, CommunitiesFamiliesGovernment, and Faith-based institutions in creating spaces of transformation and peace.

Grounded in nature, faith, and lived truth, CamishaFatimah is a walking testament to the power of restoration. Whether she's in a classroom, a circle, or a forest trail, she continues to guide others toward healing, purpose, and liberation.
